Sinds deze week is mijn boek Vleesfabels: Misvattingen over voeding en een pleidooi voor een plantaardig dieet eindelijk te koop. In de podcast van vandaag lees ik hoofdstuk 3 aan je voor. Hierin gaan we in op het argument of eten als ”de oermens” niet het meest optimale is voor de mens. Online horen we namelijk veelvuldig dat een natuurlijk dieet zoals aangehouden werd in de prehistorie met veel vlees en zonder granen en peulvruchten het best zou zijn voor optimale gezondheid. Tijd om dit uit te pluizen en het één en ander recht te zetten.
